It is an independent, private and non-profit organisation owned by the Society for the International Community in Jordan (SICJ). We are proud of the fact that every Dinar of fees is used to create the very best provision from which our children benefit every single day. Our stakeholders are our students and wider community.
English National Curriculum
ICS follows the English National Curriculum (ENC), modified to our local and international context, all teaching is conducted in English by English-speaking, UK qualified teachers. All students study a broad and balanced curriculum, drawing on the very best of British, Jordanian and international education.
IGCSEs & A Levels
Our senior students study for IGCSEs and A Levels, the gold standard of pre-university qualifications worldwide, with some students also taking the SAT and commonly applying for undergraduate schools in the USA and Canada.
Many international families switch to the British curriculum because of its transferability and competitive nature for university entry, in addition to its advanced milestones in lower primary, for example, learning to read at a young age.
Working Above Standards
Fully accredited by COBIS (Council of British International Schools), BSO (British Schools Overseas), CIS (Council of International Schools) and BSME (British Schools in the Middle East).
Our Location, Campus and Future Developments
The school is located on a purpose-built, semi-rural campus in the Na’our area, approximately fifteen minutes from most embassies and the city centre.
What Next?
We are now focusing on planning the next stage of our expansion with a four-acre plot of land adjacent to the school planned to be developed for further sports facilities including a swimming pool as well as a state-of-the-art Performing Arts centre over the next few years.
